Foram revelados nesta terça-feira, 16, os indicados ao Emmy 2019, mais importante prêmio da televisão norte-americana. Game of Thrones (2011-2019), que teve neste ano a sua temporada derradeira, foi o campeão de indicações, com 32 ao todo. Aliás, a série estabeleceu um novo recorde: nunca antes alguma produção teve tantas nominações numa edição do Emmy.
Em virtude do excelente desempenho de sua série mais famosa, a HBO garantiu a liderança entre as emissoras indicadas, com 137 lembranças no total. Assim, a emissora retoma a dianteira que havia perdido em 2018 para a Netflix. A cerimônia de entrega dos Emmy acontecerá no dia 22 de setembro no Microsoft Theater, em Los Angeles.
